torey, just wanted to let you know how much i admire your all-your-own technique with the children in your novels. it is a sad state of affairs indeed when teachers are so orthodox that their children suffer due to their unwillingness to bend and modify. thankyou for the inspiration...what a wonderful place our schools would be if all teachers read and learned from your example. kacey
