This is not a follow-up message. I just wanted to ask some basic questions and gather information about where I may pose my more detailed questions.
I am not a foster parent, but rather a biological parent of two children who are non-verbal. I feel quite certain that their problems are organic, physical, cognitive.....etc. But additionally, I am extremely interested in the whole area of mutism. I have a special love for children who have had rather unfortunate and often tragic events happen to them when they were young. In addition to that, my best friend suspects that she was a victim of SRA or Masonic RA. She has many psychological handicaps she is attempting to work on during her adult life.
